A friend of mine – Cam Wilkie has decided to coordinate donations of goods for the victims of the Queensland Floods.
He’s put together a list of USEFUL ESSENTIALS and will organise for them to be transported to the necessary areas via the Salvation Army Disaster Relief Section over East. Please think carefully about what you are going to contribute.
How you can help….

The 1ST TRUCK will be leaving THIS FRIDAY(14 January) , please deliver all items to the following address by midday on Friday.
Cambuild
2/5 Leeway Court
Osborne Park, WA 6017
Please BOX and LABEL your purchases and if possible email Louise on [email protected] with the details, so they know what to expect.
This will be the 1st of a number of trucks which will leave over the next couple of weeks. Further details of later trucks will follow.
I can vouch 100% for Cam – he’s a good friend of mine. You can check out his business website here: http://www.cambuild.com.au and there’s now a dedicated page on the website with more information: http://www.cambuild.com.au/Queensland-Flood-Donations.aspx
Update Mon Jan 17: Cam & Kelli need help labeling and packing boxes at Cambuild. It seems people are already starting to forget how much needs to be done to assist our friends in Queensland. Please donate some time to help even if you can’t afford to donate money or goods.
We also now have access to unlimited trucks to get these essentials to Queensland. Please continue to provide whatever assistance you can – but for now they’re asking for no more clothing. They have a full semi-trailer worth already!

Hello, we are organsing a package to be delivered from Perth to Ossie Park. Besides the 14/1 truck, when is the cut off date???
Best bet is to email Louise as quoted in the blog post as she’s coordinating things. I suspect there will be no cut off as long as goods keep rolling in.
Thank you very much for posting this.
It is much appreciated.
